You become aware of your breath, of your mind, all of this is reflected in your actions and so on. Right discrimination is cultivated. People are involved so much in debating, this religion, that religion. If you realy understand Yoga, Vedanta philosophy, you see sameness. All Rishis, all the saints teach the same thing; if they are enlightened beings the path towards liberation, enlightenment is the same. The instructions are very simple, not complicated. All the teachings, all the practices all the disciplines should help you free the mind from the defects of Mala, Vikshepa and Avarna. If it is not doing that, then it is not Yoga, it is not spirituality. Most people’s relationship with religion just creates more delusion, more stupidity, more ignorance. Instead of being the means towards liberation and freedom it is the means to more bondage.

The whole of Buddha’s teaching is based on the 4 Noble Truths and the 8 fold path. The first is right view, which is to understand that there is only suffering in this world. It is just like Vedantic philosophy which talks about right discrimination. What is right discrimination? It is to understand that life in this world is nothing but pain and suffering. Everything in this world changes; We live in a world of change. Nothing is permanent; So that helps you to develop right discrimination. When you think about this world, people just pursue pleasure. In the pursue of pleasure there is always the possibility of you becoming enslaved by the senses, addicted to pleasure. And even while you are enjoying the pleasure there is the anxiety of losing it. No matter how much pleasure you get, you always need more to fill the void within you. If you observe the world, you see that people are always in that state of constant struggle to fill that void,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], That insatiable hunger for fullness, completeness. So the man of wisdom understands that there is only suffering, sickness,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], disease, old age, death, and so on. That is why I always say that Yoga is the shattering of delusions and illusions. But who is ready for that? Every body wants to be Guru, they learn a little, and then they just want to go and parade their ego. The first thing they do is find faults with the Guru, that gives them a license to parade. There's a wonderful freshness to youthful optimism, isn't there? We definitely need to have the 'never-say-die' attitude on our team to get us through the rough spots. I make sure that I pay equal attention to the optimists as well as the pessimists in our midst. At the same time, as someone on this side of the midlife transition, I make sure that I do pay attention to those pessimists. I can no longer afford to bury my head in the sand.
You face two very strong and culturally-supported attitudes that make it more difficult than necessary to prep yourself for hitting midlife. So, you ignore all the warning signs, dismissing them as passing issues or just stuff you need to get over. The United States Monday branded as unfortunate and unhelpful the adoption by China's parliament of a law giving its military a legal basis to attack Taiwan if the island moved toward independence. The comments came as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice began her first Asian trip which will include a stop in China early next week.
China has always held out the prospect that it would use force in the face of an independence move by Taiwan.
But the enshrinement of that threat as law by the National People's Congress is being described here as an unhelpful step, one that is clearly also an unwelcome prelude to Ms. Rice's first Asian trip as Secretary of State.
Using the same language as his White House counterpart Scott McClellan, State Department Spokesman Richard Boucher said the adoption of the law by the parliament,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a foregone conclusion since Beijing announced the draft law a week ago,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], runs counter to what had been seen in Washington as a recent easing of tensions across the Taiwan Strait:
"The decision by the Chinese leaders to have the National People's Congress adopt an anti-secession law today is unfortunate. It really does not serve the cause of peace and stability on the Taiwan Strait and for that reason we believe it to be unhelpful. As we've noted before, it runs counter to the recent warming trends that we've seen in cross-strait relations. It only serves to harden positions," he said.
